Forsthoff P-2 Overlap Welder
The FORSTHOFF-P2 automatic welding machine is an efficient and manoeuvrable device for welding truck tarpaulins, tents, awning materials and advertising banners. It can produce 20, 30, 40 and 45 mm wide overlap welds.
In addition, by mounting hem welding accessories, the automatic machine can then be used for producing 20 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm and 45 mm hems.
The heat output of up to 4000 W 230 V AC is infinitely variable from
20 to 700°C for individual adjustment to different materials.
The FORSTHOFF-P2 will start automatically after the weld head has been swivelled in. The speed adjustment is infinitely variable up to 18 m/min. The holding-down device makes for crease-free welding and an optimum welding result. The three-point support ensures reliable pressure is kept on the tarpaulin.
With the new generation of nozzles, tarpaulin fabrics can be welded with speeds of up to 11 m/min.
The device is equipped with a sturdy carrying handle and a telescopic guide handle that can be individually adjusted to the user's body height.
The manoeuvrable and narrow casing design is optimally suited for using the FORSTHOFF-P2 in the truck tarpaulin and advertising banner sector.

Hem Welding Guide: The reliable Forsthoff-P2 automatic overlap welder has a new hem welding accessory. The hem welding guide allows the simple and easy production of hems in the tarpaulin and advertising banner industry. The hem guide folds the material over into a welding position as the machine automatically rolls forward, allowing the blower heat and pressure wheel to create a consistent, strong hem along the edge of the material. Hem guides are available for 20mm, 30mm and 45mm hems and can be simply attached to the Forsthoff-P2 automatic welding machine. Customers who already have a Forsthoff-P or Forsthoff-P2 model can easily upgrade their machine.
